Bezel Question
Hey All,Is it advisable to rotate your bezel every now and then just to keep it functioning? It might also help clean out any crud as well,Peter

I never bother to be honest, but it's not going to do any harm

Rotate your bezel under some running water to clean and flush the crud out..
You could then blow the water out with a bit of compressed air..

Personally, I don't use the bezel much, but when I wash my SD about once a week, I turn the bezel under lukewarm water with mild liquid handwashing soap.

It's a bit like picking fluff out of your belly-button, worth doing every once in a while. As the guys say above just swivle under warm water and voila! Me? I actually use the bezel daily, timing all sorts etc. so it never really gets crudded-up.

Sounds like a good pickup line..."had your bezel rotated lately?"

Peter
I have a Sub LV with a spare black bezel and insert. I usually change it once a month from black to green, in doing so I clean the area that the bezel sits on with rubbing alcohol. I'm careful so I don't lose the spring that's located at 12 o'clock. |
