thoughts on pam 359

thinking of picking up a 359. i've had a 111, 112 and a 321 in the past and want another panerai. any thoughts?

I've owned a few pams also... 111, 351 & 372 . I only own the 372 now and imho it's the only pam you need to own.. Go for a classic vintage look and hand wound that's what panerai do best. 359 is a nice piece but I don't feel it has the panerai Dna...372's are a bargain atm. Good luck on your decision.

I'm not so fond of Arabic sandwich dials - prefer the 312/320 or 422 myself

While not a "DNA" piece, I personally find the 359 to be cool as the only fully polished 1950s case, plus I've always been a fan of Arabics.

thanks for the replies guys. ended up buying it and i'm really liking the arabic numbers and the "dirty dials"..and that polish

My 2cents.
I think the 359 is cool for the polished case, but I don't think it sits as comfortably on the wrist as the 372 (I don't own either, but am saving for a 372). 372 has it all in my opinion; base, plexi, 47mm, low profile for 47mm.

I love my 359. Polished case sits high, but that is part of the appeal imo. Great presence and gets tons of compliments
