I took my grandmother's watch in for an appraisal and authentication after she passed on to satisfy my own curiosity. So as most outings like that go the watch was studied in detail dismantled as to identify the key details that verify that indeed the piece is authentic which of course it all checked out beautifully which for that I was elated.However that was short lived after all had been done and the good news was given the scum bag no good snake told me that I then had to pay him $600.00 in order for the watch to be reassembled. So needless to say fit to be tied I had no choice but to take myself and the miniscule pieces of this gorgeous watch and leave and I'm now left with a disassembled heirloom. Please someone tell me how I can put it back together ive been trying for months.

At $600, you might as well send it to your nearest RSC for complete service and reassembly.

The whole stall point is the funds to send off note not getting it reassembled there

Why did he have to take it apart to authenticate? That makes no sense whatsoever.
He can't do any work on it (for $) until he receives an approval from you BEFOREHAND.

Can someone please send a link to a diagram of the face assembly thats all I lack and am severely stuck I have the entire back side completed and working beautifully I just need to assemble the gears that turn the time hands and the date reel

Without knowing which movement you're talking about, there's no way we can help you. Please post a picture of what you have, the way it is now, and MAYBE we can direct you...

Sorry this story just sounds like a fairy tale and just like Vanessa just cannot see the point in stripping down a complete movement just authenticate.Post a picture of complete watch and parts I assume it was a ladies type watch.Just quote the model number which can be found on the case between the watch lugs. Without picture and reference number know one can help you, I will repeat without pictures know one can help you.
