G'day from Tasmania, Australia
My first Rolex, waited ages to find a vintage 1964 Datejust in SS with 1570 Calibre, which I think was the 1st year for them. No Jubilee bracelet, it was worn beyond repair and replaced at last service with an oyster bracelet. Very unassuming, but with + or - 3 seconds a day accuracy whilst being worn.
Purchased from the original owner. Trying to take photos, no real skills yet. Hoping to learn more from the TRF. I enjoy ferreting out the vintage posts by members, the older models are my main interest. cheers richard |
