Thinking about buying a PAM 000
That new watch itch is driving me crazy. I currently have an Exp 1 and LvC and am thinking about buying the PAM 000. With the new U.S. price reduction it is even more tempting.
However, I could also see myself flipping it down the road. If I can get it from an AD 10% under do you think that would prevent me from taking a big hit if I flipped it within the year? |

buy it pre-owned and don't worry. i would think getting any discount on a 000 (beyond a free strap or two) would be difficult.

Most AD don't have 000 so maybe find pre-owned good luck

Unless they are boutique only, I'm fairly certain I can get a hold of it. I am anticpating ordering it sight unseen though. Like I said my concern is resale value. Would hate to see it spiral down like a Brietling on the secondary market.

I'll tell you what others have told me, when I was trying to decide, myself.
"Base is ace!" And they were right. You'll likely never want to sell, I know I won't. ![]() ![]() |

Retail prior to May 1 was $5400.00 Retail now is $4500.00 This has always been a strong model on the pre-owned market. CASH BUY prices from dealers are around $3300.00 SELL is $3700-$4000 depending on age, conditions... It's one of the safer Panerai to buy in terms of resale... |

great watch for what it is. I've owned 3 since 2008. Actually wouldn't mind another. All mine were bought brand new when prices were still in the mid 4k range. I always took a huge hit when it came time to flip them. Panerai does not hold value but dont let that stop you since the 000 has a low price tag to begin with. Do it, i soon will.

buy pre owned and would think the hit wont be as bad. Pam prices have really dropped in the last year. i have a 372 and wont sell it because its taken such a hit. see them now for under 6k. paneristi has a collectors market and i see 112, 005, and 000 for under 4k.

There are a couple for sale right here on the forum, jump on them.
I bought mine at the NY boutique and as expected I did not get a discount, three free straps though. Dealers get them, but not very often, save the trouble and get one for around $4,300!

Don't get one if you already think about flipping it.

Also on the lookout for 00. Base for me.
Have a 112 right now and not thinking of flipping it. A wise WIS said to me once get a base Pams since new SRP would be affordable and most likely won't be that much of a hit should you flip vs the auto Pams. Now i'd only get a base, safest bet if you're thinking of flipping. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
