Strap or bracelet?

Which do you like on this GMT?

This?

Or this?

It would look great with the OEM Omega rubber diving strap.
Very comfortable as well.

I would vote rubber 1st, bracelet 2nd, leather 3rd.

But they all will look good.

Wow.

That watch just looks different with each combination, not better or worse.

If I had to make a choice, I'd pick rubber first, bracelet second, and leather third.

By the way, what feel does that rubber strap have?

Soft?

Hard?

Elastic?

How does it feel when worn 24 hours?

Going back again, the leather looks better now.

I don't know.

I just put that same strap on my Speedmaster Pro. I like the way the contrast stitching picks up the black and white on the dial. I think it looks good.

I never wear my speedy with the original SS band.

I always alternate between those two...
Alligator with contrast stitching

Or Omega OEM NASA Kevlar/Carbon with Omega OEM buckle.

My Speedy is on a carbon strap now, and my Rolex GMT is on a black NATO. I prefer straps to bracelets more for comfort than anything else. Normally I'll wear my speedy with the ss bracelet through the winter time, and wear straps the rest of the year.

Gary, I've always loved your GMT on the strap. It just changes the watch totally.
Chip, that Speedy looks fantastic with both of the straps you've pictured.

Change my day/date to leather and haven't gone back to ss band for over year now. Maybe a polish refinish I'll change but leather looks classic.

Some great photography there, Chip. I'll have to start saving for the OEM rubber strap.

I like the stainless, but I bet the strap is more comfortable. What's that strap with the big holes in it?

Both of those watches in the original post look excellent but for me and my personal prefrence / needs, a leather strap is not something I want unless it sits in my safe most of the time.

You can get one HERE.
They are about 190 USD plus the cost of the buckle.

Your strap looks good on the GMT. I like straps for a change of pace but here in the SE US, the humidity restricts strap wear to the winter months.

This strap was my favorite on the white GMT:

and I kept it when the Omega was replaced by my M/3186:

Over the years, I owned four white GMTs and loved them all. Unfortunately the cases were too thick to fit comfortably under a shirt cuff hence the EXPII.

Wow

The Great White looks beautiful with the brown croc, as does the Explorer II.
