Noob question: Markup for box/papers vs watch only?

Hi guys- been searching for the right pre-owned PAM for a while. Can someone help me understand the deal with finding a watch with box&papers&accesories vs just the watch only? It seem like having all that stuff is around a 15-20% increase in price, is that typcical?

Important

You should definitely get one with box and papers. A small premium for an important part of the experience of owning a panerai. And why would someone have a panerai and not the accessories? If you can't take care of the extras, how well have you taken care of the watch. If you ever wanted to sell it you would be glad you had them.

Here's mine!

Yeah, completely understand the value/desirability of the whole kit, was just curious what the standard markup/discount tends to be.,.

I think your question is a bit backwards...it should be what is the discount without papers/box...a complete set is the standard price as most people who buy PAMs would have complete sets.

Make sure the movement sticker is part of the set.

Always prefer a complete set. Worth the price differential in my opinion.

I would not buy a pam without box and papers. Think this is most important with panerai watches.
