New Member -- Graduation Gift Help Appreciated
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum--and inexperienced when it comes to all-things Rolex--so any help would be greatly appreciated! I just finished up law school, and as a reward, I plan to purchase my first Rolex. That said, I have three in mind, and if anyone has any insight/recommendations/etc., I'd be grateful. Below are the three I'm considering: 1. Datejust: Stainless Steel Silver Stick Dial & Engine Turn Bezel, Model No.16220. I can purchase it (preowned) from swiss - wrist dot com for $2,700 (no box/papers); 16220-slv-stk-eng-bkl-1_2.jpg 2. Datejust Thunderbird (white gold), Model No. R1626440 B6251. I can purchase it from a local, reputable jeweler (preowned) for $3,000 (with box/papers); or 4561-large.jpg 3. Two Tone Datejust - Slate Arabic Dial with Fluted Bezel, Model No. 16013-7134. I can purchase it (preowned) from swiss - wrist dot com for $2,700 (no box/papers); 16013-slt-arb-brl-1_3.jpg My apologies in advance for the long-winded post, but I really want to make sure I don't make an expensive mistake. Thank you so much! |

Welcome to TRF. I would choose the first or third, not the turnograph.

Wow, thank you all for welcoming me, and I appreciate all the opinions! I think I may lean towards the first (assuming swiss - wrist dot com turns out to be reputable). I'll be sure to post photos when it arrives -- thanks again everyone.
