Be nice if it was true!

While out shopping in Oxford yesterday and sneaked in a little watch shopping I got chatting with the Rolex salesman in the local AD.

We got only the latest Basel watches hitting the stores and he went on to mention that he has inside () info the Oysterflex strap will be filtering down into other models... Yep I know the chances of this info legit but hey we can live in hope!

I for one would love it be to an option on the ceramic RG Daytona

Given the investment Rolex has undoubtedly made in its development, I'd be surprised if it didn't filter down to other models eventually.

Oh yeah I agree but I'd say the sales chat was an educated guess rather then inside info!

But knowing R this can be a long and drawn out process haha

This would change my thinking of my next watch. Would get the blue ym instead of the new op 39.

Strolling in the sunshine through the dreaming spires while trying on Rolexes is pretty much my idea of heaven... I really should have gone to Magdalene but got distracted in my final year.

It's unlikely that a salesman has any "insider" info, but I would speculate that it will show up elsewhere too.

It would be a shame to have that kind of technology only available on a somewhat non-popular model.

I expect they will make it available, if they were rat cunning they would do it through RSC, so you increased your chances of doing a service. Personally I can see myself putting it on a Sub not sure I would do it on a RG Daytona, but to each their own.
