New Phoenix NATO and question

I just received this Phoenix "official" MOD grey.
Haven't been mounted as I'm interested in a thicker material.
Do Zulu's from Maratac have a thicker strap made from a weave?
Any other suggestions are appreciated.

One of the main diffs between Zulu and Nato straps is the thickness of the nylon. All Zulus are much thicker.

It appears dark in the pic but it's an Admiralty.

Is Maratac a popular brand of Zulu?

I have no experience with their zulu's, but Marartac and Phoenix are considered by many to be the some of the best natos available.

I would think their zulus would be the same.

Nice watch BTW

My Maratac NATO is a little thicker and more flexible than my Phoenix NATO.
