Cannot seem to find my next love. And I only have ONE watch!!

On the hunt for my next watch, already have the budget, but I cannot find a watch that sings to me as much as my BLNR.
Have been to the AD a few times, and I have found many watches that I have liked, but nothing that drives me crazy(like my BLNR did).
I don't like any TT or gold, so that is out of the table.
The WG blue sub would be incredible, but it is simply too expensive.

Maybe time to search some other brands?
Thinking it may not be a horrible idea to save up and go big with a PP..

Get a 15202 or save for a white gold PP

I would advise you to take a serious look at AP, and the Diver in particular.

I have been a Rolex man for decades (and am still) but have been grabbed by AP in a serious way. Watches that did nothing for me a year ago are now 90% of my wrist-time.

Look at the Diver or any 44mm Novelty.

"Going big" with Patek may not be all of that if you are looking for a sports watch. If you like small(er) more delicate watch, then yes visit that avenue. But based on the fact you like BLNR I would recommend AP.

Have a thorough try of the 216570 Explorer 2 Polar. It has GMT fn, BCLs, is dead easy to read and is COMFORTABLE. Not that dear either. Great second Rolex.

Had the BLNR along with 3 Pams, 3 Rolex and 1 BP, 6 months after getting my 5712 all were gone

Well since he has a BLNR which is not huge a 5980 or 5990 are great but since a WG sub is too mucho dinero these even more… Except if you want a "sporty" dress watch don't go PP because the Nautilus are just that, sporty dress pieces, a diver is good option, especially a ceramic diver

In fact there are endless possibilities, but for us to help the OP needs to say what he likes and doesn't like, just like this is a little hard except we get that it needs to be a few K less than a WG sub

I also really enjoy my BLNR, and for me it shares time with an AP SS Diver and PP 5167 Aquanaut. I wasn't convinced that the AP Diver would work for me, but I gave it a try and now I enjoy it immensely - it's one of the most fun watches to look down at during the day. It's also great with shorts/jeans... It's a great compliment to the BLNR.

I was also recently fortunate to add the SS Aquanaut. I have a number of watches, but I am now convinced that I could live with the BLNR/Aquanaut during the week (like my watches to slide under the cuff), and the AP Diver as a fun, casual, weekend watch. The Aquanaut is the most comfortable, understated, beautiful watch I have ever owned. To me it's an incredible value.

Good luck with your next piece. You're certainly doing the right thing by taking your time. Look forward to seeing what you choose.

44SS would be a great piece to start with. I love my Rolexes, but I think you'll find there is something very special about AP finishing.

In PP at the price range you seem to be at, you will have basically 2 models, 5167 and 5711, both are super but very thin and very light, but comfort is stunning, if you prefer more bulky go AP, you have the diver, 15400, be careful if you get a Patek ultra thin, after 3 months I flipped all my watches because I didn't want to wear them I wore only the 5712, the others felt too big and heavy, and I had some nice ones, flipped 8 in all, one of them was the Batman...

A 5711 would be the only watch you'd ever need.

Thank you all for the responses and help!
Beautiful time pieces Clive, however the ROO does nothing for me.
I just can't seem to find them very aesthetically pleasing myself; They are also on the larger side for me.
The 15202 is a stunner in the pics, have not seen it in the flesh, however the lack of second hands will take some time getting used to.
I will try to find one in the flesh, as it does look like a stunning time piece, and an iconic AP.
How would you say she rates on durability?

I'm looking at a budget of around 20-22K range. The 15202 should be do-able.

Again, thank you all!

Cannot seem to find my next love. And I only have ONE watch!!

The 15202 has been growing in the back of my mind lately. Especially as a compliment to my BLNR. However, if you haven't checked out vintage Rolex you're missing out. For that money you could get a superb red 1680 or gilt dial 5513 or GMT. Both are stunning, charming and have such understated cool factor.

My humble "white" 1680...

I also love my no date SubC, the clean, monochrome look and brushed bracelet is a perfect counterpoint to the BLNR...

I would have to say 15202 for AP, for Patek would go for a nautilus can't go wrong with any of them from the 5711 to the 5980r

The 15202 is great but it felt a little small to me coming from a Sub and a Daytona. I think a chronograph would compliment your BLNR, check out the 41mm Royal Oak Chrono. You should be able to get BNIB for ~18-19k, under budget, and in my opinion the RO bracelet is the most beautiful and comfortable ever. One that is truly a marvel to look at and wear. Best of luck in your choice!

Personally prefer the 5711 over the 5167 any day.
I like the 5167, but it isn't that special in my eyes.
And the 15202 over the 5167 at that price range.

Well...let me warn you...when you put on an AP---you will 100% WANT IT!!!

There's just something about it - that everyone who owns one or has worn one will understand. Same with Patek.
