FS: Rolex Submariner ref. 1680 (1680/8) 18k Yellow Gold

Up for sale is a superb early example of the iconic ref. 1680/8 Rolex Submariner in 18k YG (2.4M Serial #) in excellent condition. This rare vintage reference provides a unique balance of elegance and sportiness.

Details:

Dial: The original black nipple dial is in excellent condition with no noticeable flaws or blemishes. The dial and lume plots are 100% untouched.

Case: 18k gold case was recently detailed with factory spec chamfers and thick lugs. Reference and serial numbers are clearly visible on the case. Crystal was recently replaced with an original factory Rolex crystal.

Bracelet/Strap: The watch comes fitted with its original early YG oyster bracelet with the coronet on the top of the clasp and ‘Pateted’ divers extension in good condition with light stretch from normal use (11+1 links).

Additional: The watch currently runs well but service history is unknown. No other accessories are included with the watch.

Asking $21,480 by wire (or check deposited to my Chase Bank account) shipped and insured within the US or face to face in the Los Angeles area. International shipping available at an additional cost.

Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if item is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs. Buyer is responsible for the return postage, insurance, and safe delivery of the watch back to me. Due to the complexity of shipping to the US from abroad, all international sales are final.
