wide base of hands

I have been recently hooked on the RolexEnforcer's Instagram page. Hes probably here in the forum to. And hopefully he, or someone here, can explain what he means by "wide base of hands". He uses this term a lot when calling out the fake watches, and I can't seem to visualize what wide base of hands is.

If I had to hazard a guess it means the width of the bottom of the hands?

I dunno

that's what i first thought, but couldn't tell the difference between real ones and the fake ones. i guess the enforcer has just a keen eye on what I can't see on the folexes, or the pictures themselves are just not as clear.

he means the radius of the circle around the pivot point of the hands. I believe this measurement is larger on replicas

yeah I'm a big RE fan. he actually follows me, which is awesome. anyway he means the center of the watch where all the hands come together, how wide that base is. the pic of the AP with the red accents is real, the all white one, fake. enlarge the pic and look at the center of the dial where all the hands come together.

real

I see it!!! thanks. Man fakes now look so real. I've seen up close what they call a "rolex clone" of Submariner. it looked so real, i could only tell it was a fake when i put it on, the bracelet was a little stiff.

they had a batch of fake subs that were making their way to dealers on the left coast, and they were so good they got through a few dealers before somebody finally took one apart and found the cloned movement inside.
subs the most popular and most counterfeited, them and the datejust.
