Help with GMT blnr

I posted pics of my incoming blnr that i picked up last friday.
Away at the moment and the GMT hand keeps slowing or stopping. The watch is keeping time.

I set the hand +5 hours but it slows back down to 2 and now the local time has caught up with it.

Simple fix or a visit to a dealer on holiday or do i take it backto where i bought it on my return home?

Just to eliminate the obvious - You are aware that it is a 24 hour hand, and you read the hour on the scale on the bezel?

Are you sure you are reading the time off the bezel? The GMT hand travels at half the speed of the hour hand.

Just want to make sure that you know that the GMT hand only completes a full rotation after 24 hrs not 12 hrs as per the hour hand. This could be the cause of your GMT 'slowing down'. You should read the GMT time off the 24 hour bezel not the dial.

The gmt hand makes one revolution ever 24hrs. I'd be concerned if the hour hand didn't catch the gmt hand!

Well, to be fair, you don't know how to spell and spent quite a bit on that computer/phone of yours.

Could be worse. At least you didn't ask why the date changes at noon. No worries....we have all been there.

Like they say there is no stupid question. Close to but not there yet. We have all asked questions at one time or another that we wish we could take back upon learning the answer. Enjoy your watch and keep asking questions. It is the only way to learn.

I like all the actors in this movie and I liked the initial story. I really wanted to like it but it become so ridiculous at the end I almost left. I laughed out loud at him inside the bookcase to the annoyance of other movie goers. Did they all drop acid and smoke a bag of dope the night they came up with the ending? Ridiculous.

Very true, it was going so well until the final 30 mins, then it all got a little too weird for me. I'm not huge into astronomy and science so was unsure if what I was watching was an actual theory or if it was some weird sic-fi stuff.

Magnetic, I hope you're not upset at some of the responses. They're a good bunch here and just razzing you a little. Do you understand the relation between the GMT hand and the hour hand? We'll be happy to explain it if you don't. The owner's manual can answer a lot of questions as well. I love that watch, post some pictures for us!

Yep, that's exactly how they work.. The dial hand will "catch up" to the 24 hour hand every 12 hours.
