Icon6 And still come back for more!

Hi guys....

I have been guilty recently of posting some not well thought out threads, (really, really sorry!) also of posting in the wrong section (if this is....please move!)

I need to read more, and talk less it would appear, in my defence though, i dont get long on the net, and have to hurry through alot in a little while.

I recently read the thread about the JLC Gyroturbillion, and will have to buy this movement in the Grande Complication, as it is the most stunning movement i have ever seen. Beautiful, no other word. However, thanks to Jedi, and others for their enligtenment, I have discovered the other high end watches manufactorers. I will have to buy the JLC GC next, even though i am a 1 watch guy, I MUST own the movement in some form, even if I have it for dress (not that I ever go anywhere!)

All this said though, having looked at all the High end makes sports/tool/proffesional watches. I keep comming back to the beauty and classy looks of the Rolex. I cant say I know of another watch that does it for me. They are quintiscentialy so right. Other makes are pretty, Bo's Omega comes close, but......

Rollie for me!

Gotta agree with you, Steve.

As JJ would say:

"North, East, South, West.....Rolex is the BEST!"

Nice pics, btw.! I especially like the layout of the last pic!

You're guilty of nothing Steve, apology not required.

Bo's right, that pic is especially good, has something warm-homely-feelgood about it

I agree as well, but there is something about the Carl F Bucherer that draws me in like a kid in a candy store.....I think its the case construction that looks so superb to me.

I really struggled with that photo Bo, i was hoping to get it brighter, but i have no Tripod just yet, and if i open the aperture for longer, it loses focus due to hand wobble. I was also hoping to have the face of the GMT brighter and less blured. I will try for a better shot when i get my tripod, Thanks for your support friends!
