So the movies initial release date is in 2 days not hyped at all for it but i can't be the only one who noticed the APs in the trailer. So theres a FC 44mm, a SS diver a RG chrono not sure if its the 39 or 41 and probably a few more.

im a big fan of the show~

excited to see them all wearing APs except for Vince who doesnt wear a watch lol

I'm not surprised. If you watched the show at all, it seems like AP struck a product placement deal with them.

In the first few seasons, it was pretty spread out on AP, PP, and Rolex watches being worn and referenced. The last few seasons, everyone was wearing an AP and getting them as gifts. I even remember Ari was wearing a gold AP, and was about to go meet a colleague that he perceived wasn't doing as well as him; so he handed his credit card to his assistant and told him to go buy a SS Rolex for him to wear to the meeting.

I read the producer is simply just a fan of AP.. like the mention of Avion tequila in the show.. no official endorsement

Yep, read the same thing. He also gave Piven a 18k ROC as a gift. I also read that AP didnt pay for product placement at the time.

I would suspect that in later seasons AP had something to do with the product placement. Eric wore one, Turtle got one gifted from Avion owner, etc.

Doug Ellin, the (creator/producer/I don't recall) of the show is indeed a fan of APs!
In fact, he has filmed himself on the show in a little known role as a casting director/audition "scout" for Johnny Drama (no clue as to the season) but I distinctly remember him wearing a black Rubberclad at that time!
Dark hair, skinny guy. Look him up online, I'm sure you will likely recognize him!

Loved seeing APs in the show, really looking forward to the movie. Even if the movie tanks, at least we get to see some APs

Just saw the movie... TONS of APs. It's like the only watch that was worn except for Billy Walsh who rocks a Rolex at the end!
