Daytona gaining This amount ok?

As the title says my Daytona has gained 18+ Seconds in 7-8 days. As I don't have any equipment I have just done a side by side with a digital watch.

Is this perfectly fine?

Hey buddy, it's partly your fault with all your Daytona posts that got me into the game

But boy oh boy this thing is a beauty. The dial... The lines ... The curves of the case ... And the size! It's just perfect for my 6.5" wrist.

My hulk has been put away as I'm still in my honeymoon period

How do you store it when not wearing it?

If it is dial upwards, try resting it on the winder for the next couple of occasions you take it off.

well I am glad it is my favorite and gets the majority of my wrist time, I have to put my sub or GMT on and then I wonder why I don't have my Daytona on!

Funny, a few days back I realized my Daytona was a bit fast maybe 1/2 seconds fast per day. For 3-4 nights in a row (without resetting time) I rested the watch crown down to slow things down.

I just checked time.gov and the time is DEAD ON! Maybe off by a second! I haven't reset the time since 5/22/15.

Mine rests the same way every night- crown-up. It's literally never been touched since. Only adjustment was for DST, other than that, it's been running spot on for over eight months.
