Wow look at the condition of this dial

What happened to this dial??? Would it be expensive to restore?

If I were....

....buying it, I would get the dial re-done. I know there are a bunch of folks out there that would not, but, I like my watches to look as good as possible.

MY vote: RE-DIAL!!

Would Rolex do that? How much is something like going to cost? The item is in China, it if were to go really really cheap it is worth a shot.

....company in CA. It is called Kirk dial. They are a bit on the high side, neighborhood of $250 for a re-dial, but there work is outstanding.

I have NOT personally used them but have heard about their remarkable work on vintage watch dials.

Of course, there are many others around the country, and generally speaking, you can most of them done for around $100.

What you have to be careful of is that the dial is not so badly oxidized that when they work on it it shows the pitting underneath the re-dial work.

I guess you won't know that until they start the refinish. But say it ends dirt cheap, like $30 with shipping it would be worth the shot.

I wonder how old it is, I noticed the red date. It would suck if it turned out to be fake.

....oh, it is genuine.....

....First, he would be a fool to let it go for less tah $500.

They are up-front people, as I have purchased from them before.

I am the CURRENT high bidder
