Chronometer Hang Tag Color Changed from Burgundy to Green
Hi TRF Members. Perhaps, I have too much time on my hands but I paid a visit a couple of days back to my AD to eyeball a 116613LB Submariner that they are holding for me under deposit. I noticed that the plastic Swiss Chronometer Certification Tag was swapped out from a burgundy color to Rolex green. I am thinking it may have something to do with the changes in warranty and recommended service intervals but frankly, this is a wild ass guess on my part.
So, can a fellow forum member explain the change from burgundy to green for the chronometer hang tag? Last edited by Kennyboy2; 14 July 2015 at 04:29 AM.. Reason: Spelling |

This is part of the switch over to the 5 year warranty... There are plenty threads covering this topic.
