Diver or 15300/Daytona?

I know there have been threads in the past but I was hoping for some fresh feedback now that the 15300 is completely out of stock. I currently have a diver that is still under warranty and I am debating trading for either an unworn but older black daytona +cash or a rarely worn 15300 from 2007 even. I love the diver but the length is a bit much for my wrists. Any opinions would be most welcome on the comparison or trade proposition.

In addition, thanks to all the posters on this forum for excellent research that kills my work productivity!

RO > daytona but I like the way that daytona fits you better than the diver. may have to go jumbo or 15300?

i love AP but I dont think i could ever own a watch that didnt have sub-dials. Looks too bland to me. So I vote Daytona

I was originally considering a 15400 as my 1st AP but after I saw the 26320 that was sitting next to it, I knew I would always want a chrono.

Daytona looks better on you, IMO.

I agree with most here that in general, AP > Rolex, but with your wrist shots, the Daytona looks better. The smaller APs would also work for you although they don't seem to be in consideration at the moment. The other nice thing with the Daytona is that there are Everest and Rubber B straps when you want to go with something other than the bracelet.

I am considering either swapping my diver for either the daytona or the 15300, so that makes sense. Just not sure about a still under warranty for a 8 year old 15300 as an even swap...???

Comparing the ROO against the Daytona, side by side like that, will always make the ROO look the size it is.
It's not a svelte watch, like the RO, but designed to have presence.
In the first photo, whilst it's hard to tell with a degree of surety, it doesn't look stupid on you, like some large watches can on some people's wrist.

Compare the price you're being offered as a swap for the NOS 15300 with those on Chrono24 of the same. Remember that anything in the EU will need to be divided by 1.2 to get the export price.
What you'll pay to US Customs for importing it, I'll let others or Google provide details of that extra expense.
At least then you can decide if the deal on offer is good, bad, or much the same.

I imagine 15450 wears very similarly to the 39mm Daytona as APs wear 2mm larger than official, so I'd try one on if you can't get hold of a 300.

Do u have an xs strap for the diver? Might make it fit better
Try that first before trading it?
The 15300 wears completely different , for me its not a daily wearer
