Why are Rose Gold DayDate's so hard to come by?
There's alot of rose gold DayDate 2's but almost never can I find a rose gold DayDate. To me rose gold looks much nicer then yellow gold.

Most AD's that I have visited have the YG in stock and can order the RG.

I agree, it took me several months to find the right RG combination for my wife. She was quite picky on the combination. Be diligent though, they are out there!

A quick Internet search revealed that I shot my mouth off too quickly. It may be because they didn't have much demand for it is all I could think...?? I think it looks really good in RG. Also like the Tridor being a kid of the 80's
So it appears that the RG version didn't appear until the early 2000's and was a double quick with solid links. All those years of the day/date starting with the 1803 and forward were only YG and WG with the lion share being YG. |

Do a search on the internet for reference 118235 and you will see RG DD's.
The AD I frequent always keeps a healthy stock of RG DD's and DD II's (before they were discontinued). The RG DD is amazing, but in the end, I still went for YG.

Now that you mention it I don't recall seeing a 36mm dd in rg at any of the ads I've been to recently. Usually just YG

I'm thinking that most people attracted to the DD are probably more inclined toward YG than RG. It is my perception that RG is under appreciated outside the WIS community.

Seems like over here (SE Asia) women really like RG. I know my wife was quite persistent on getting a RG instead of YG and the RG Pearlmaster is usually sold out here as well. But when I go back to Canada I do not see the same love for RG as I do here. Personally my preference on my skin tone is YG and I cannot remember ever owning a RG piece. |

I assume you mean in stock to look at. Most AD's will carry a couple of yellow gold and a few round my way will have one platinum model. The rise gold and white gold aren't as common. For some with the DD it's YG or nothing and the platinum is the sort of flagship. The other 2 are more specialist models if you get my meaning. Thinking about it I don't think I have ever actually seen a white gold DD in the metal. Tried the YG and Platinum many times but never the others.
