Another four weeks!?
So.. I am hearing my EX II could take five or even six weeks to make it back from RSC ... Not sure I'm going to make it.... This is probably going to be one of those: "You had to be there" stories but I wanted to share with you guys what happened the other night.
My friend's wife is out of town for a few days on business, so he calls me up and says we should go spend the evening at the poker table. We play often at the local casino, and know a bunch of the guys that are regulars. It's casual, fun, a relaxing time. We're at the table with a bunch of friends, laughing, talking, after a lull in the conversation my friend lets out a sad sigh and says: "I really miss my wife." About a second later, I let out just as sad a sigh and (completely seriously) say: "I really miss my Rolex." ... ... ... ... I look up to see the entire table, including the dealer, staring at me..... Uhm.. well.. I... uhm.... well..... |

And, speaking as a pilot, a back-up for the back-up.

I bet no one told the guys who's wife is out of town to get another one. My Sub is in service and it's been a while too. I have a bunch of substitutes but miss the Sub none the less.

I wish my 5980 was only going to be gone for that time! Good luck and I hope it is sooner!

I know how you and your friend feel, my Rolex was at ABC for 5 weeks getting renewed, I just got it back on the July 3rd, my wife's been gone for almost 5 weeks taking care of her mother. I will never put in writing which one I miss the most. |

Paulie you need a secondary watch. It's no Rolex but I would suggest a Squale.
I use it as my work watch. Swiss ETA-2824 movement a great watch for $500.
