White Dial Rolex

To complement a SubC Date and Explorer 39
Heading to the AD later today after a nice birthday lunch. I want to buy today before my wife changes her mind.
This will likely be my last Rolex purchase (No, seriously). Keep going back and forth between:

New old stock Explorer II Polar 16570

or

Datejust 116234 white dial fluted with jubilee and baton markers

Difficult choice. 2 of my favourite watches. Have owned multiple versions of each. There is an argument that says DJ as its a bit more dressy than your current models but is still a great all rounder so gives you options. However the explorer 2 in either white or black is a superb watch. Very stealthy and would give you both a white dial and a GMT feature all in one. I picked up a black one NOS quite recently and it is all I have been wearing. If it was me I would go explorer 2 now as its a discontinued model hence quite hard to come across NOS. You can always sell it and get a DJ in the future if you change your mind.

Datejust is a nice complement to your other sport models. I love the red date as well

I'm more a fan of the new Explorer II but all that said, that DJ is pretty much a classic. Given your collection, I'd go with the Datejust.

Datejust. A true classic and would compliment your collection very nicely.

I like them both equally for different reasons. In the end, the DJ came home.
Thanks all for the very helpful input.

NOS from an AD is not a great option for the 16570 (massive hit when you remove the stickers), but that's the reference I would choose.
