My Wedding
Hello all,
For those of you that remember my original thread and responded, thank you - for reference it's here https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...ighlight=Aruba My fiancé and I went to Aruba, had our wedding, and had a beautiful honeymoon/holiday! Some of the whitest sand beaches and turquoise waters I have ever seen. Our hotel and location was just perfect and other than our wonderful wedding day we lounged by the beach and pool for a whole fortnight. Having been to some of the other Carribbean islands I immediately noticed how much more developed Aruba is which is very nice shopping and restaurant-wise. It's a beautiful island and the thing we enjoyed the most was being able to walk around without any sense of unrest as the crime rate is very low. It seemed that everywhere we went when we were around town there were advertisements and stores selling high-end watches. My wife was very patient with me as I visited a lot of the stores to take a look at the models they stocked. As for my wedding watch that my previous thread talked about - my wife had bought me a DJ2 from an AD here in the UK but I wasn't allowed to wear it until our wedding day. Typically I wore it in the evenings however one day I wore it during the day in the pool and in the sea - was fantastic! I bought myself a Sub C date 18 months ago and I thought I could never like a watch as much... That was until I started wearing my DJ and I love it just as much! I took a few photos, a couple of which with TRF in mind. Doesn't seem I can download at the same time so will post them over the coming few minutes one by one... ... I have a number of photos to post but just bear with me... |

One of my families favorite vacation destinations. One of the few areas that I did not feel uncomfortable wearing a YG Sub at midnight. Beautiful island.
