GMT II get together

A little while ago I spent a holiday with a friend and his family. Turned out to be an unwanted GMT gathering. My friend had received a BLNR and his dad was sporting his LN.

Check the LN, it is a true daily wearer for a man in the timber industry in Central Africa, a true "off-roader". It is still full of the orange dirt you find in those areas.

Awesome!

Your watch shows one day earlier than your friend's and his father's date. Besides, the time shown in your watch is one hour ahead of their time. Did you adjust your 12-hour hand in the other time zone (not local time)?

Beautiful!

The only way to get better than that is if the Coke was also a ceramic :)

Mine is the 16710. It is spot on on date and time as most TRFers I guess.

My friend and his dad had no clue how to use the second time zone. My friend got his BLNR a few days before, his dad really doesn't care, the date is also wrong. He is one hour ahead because he just landed and was still on Central Africa timezone (kept it this way during it's all vacation, he REALLY doesn't care).

I already have the 3186 in it though. The BLRO is my grail watch.

Love to know how people are using their GMT's...any insight on why the 24 hour hands all read different and one of them is set an hour early from the other two?

This is an awesome shot. I think it's hilarious that they just don't care about setting the watches, they just appreciate the beauty.

Lol, odd post...I mean who cares right. Obviously there are reasons, beginning with the fact he said he was traveling, and the friend just got his, so common sense lol. Wis are weird...

Anyways, love the generations shot. The BLNR is the standout for me but that Coke has a lot of pop. Thx for posting.
