Visit to Las Vegas AP Boutique

Stopped by yesterday just before my flight home. Unfortunately, I was the only WIS on my Guy's weekend away so I had to browse solo.

I've read some differing opinions re status of this "boutique" but it's listed in the AP catalog as such...beautiful store.

The only model I tried on was the white diver...nice, but looking a tad big for me.

I was complimented on my 15300 by the sales girl and she made my visit pleasant. Interesting that I was the only customer in the store on a Sunday afternoon. Richard Mille and Heuer boutiques were also empty. Hope those shops do ok...

All of those shops will do just fine.

They (AP, RM 'LV Boutiques') are owned by Westime.

Hahahaha...

It was nice getting attended to I must say.

The AP location didn't have the black ceramic diver w/ orange trim. Was hoping to see that one up close.

The white dial looks great, did you get any pics of the boutique?

Nice! I sense the white dial makes the diver appear a touch larger as with most watches.

Yes, sometimes the life of a WIS can be lonely. Nice wrist shot!

Thanks...agree the white looks bigger, but this feels like I couldn't pull it off.

Thanks. Yes. One buddy likes watches / has Omega and Rolex...but not a fan of window shopping. This was our annual trip to Las Vegas / first time staying in the Aria.

I was there in May and the lady was helpful. There were two other guys there who acted more like security and actually closed the store doors and showed my girlfriend and i what ever we wanted while we were there. She didn't know too much about the watches though as I caught a few mistakes she made but I didn't say anything. A pleasant experience.

The Vegas Boutique is wonderful...

2 visits on my last Vegas trip.

One with a non-wis and Greg at the boutique was so solid - walking my friend through the brand.

Second visit (on my own) and we had a beer and hung out talking watches.

No pressure, focus on product and where my AP collection was going.

Great stop when in Vegas

It was very nice location. I would have liked to have seen more on display, but no major complaints.

I asked for a catalog and was given one. No diet Coke however... I kid. ;-)

I just stopped by the AP boutique in Vegas yesterday. Very nice place, and I was shown a couple of pieces. BUT I don't think this is a "true" AP Boutique. They only had the black and white dialed 15400's. When asked about the blue one, the attendant said "sorry, that one is boutique only..." The same thing happened when I asked about the Ceramic Diver. So, then was I not at an AP Boutique???

When I tried the white ceramic diver it felt huge to me, thought I couldn't wear it, but then I went and tried the black CE diver and it was fine, so yes white watches do seem much bigger than black ones...

The one inside The Shop at Crystals is boutique or listed as such.

The one I mentioned in my post above was the one at Crystals, that's why this is very strange!

The white dial does give it a slightly appearance as I notice with most watches. This Diver is quite nice.

That is indeed an AP boutique, but run by a dealer (West time) - unlike the NYC and Bal Harbour boutiques, which are owned by APNA directly. To us, customers, this should not change much, as the Las Vegas boutique also carries the boutique-only pieces and is structured exactly as if APNA were the owners. The staff is friendly and I believe we should have no concerns with it, as AP stands for everything related to that boutique too.

The store is listed in the AP catalog as a Boutique.

I don't know if the staff is as well-trained as the folks in the AP-owned boutiques as I have never been to Bal Harbor et al. Hope to make a comparison some day.

I tried on a blue 15400 at the Vegas AP store in the Crystals mall earlier this year...

Full selection at Vegas for sure. Last ceramic diver they would ever get and RG Jumbo blue dial as seen at AP Vegas 8/30/15. I'm sure these are long gone by now.

It fits your wrist really well judging from pictures and the white dial is miles better then the white ceramic diver
