New guy from Hawaii

Hello everyone,
I purchased my first watch on Sunday after completing a marathon obstacle course. To my surprise my wife had a Rolex in mind since Ben Bridge was having a sale on refurbished models. I am now a proud owner of a Datejust II and am loving it. I have done some research but what are some of the experiences and advice you can offer for care, and anything else you feel pertinent to these stunning timepieces?

Thank you!
Anthony

So one thing I keep seeing from people pictures is this awesome little green card. Is that something you get when either the seller has done his/her due diligence and kept track of it or buy it brand new? As I mentioned I bought it from an AD however they only gave me a 1 year warranty card that they filled out by hand.
