http://forums.watchnet.com/index.php...h=703472&rid=0 As for the luminescence on AP watches – it’s not the greatest, even on the diver models. With the grey colour, it’s going to be weaker. If you want a watch that acts like a torch, then you need to shift your focus to the likes of an Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver. |

Any particular reason you selected the diver strap vs the regular? My hands a bit smaller and am afraid the thick diver strap might make it fit a bit bulky. |

Anyhow, as for the way it looks, I suppose it's kind of subjective but I have pretty small wrists and IMO the wider strap made the watch look much better. The case is big and definitely wears a lot bigger than the specified 42mm. Having the wider strap to match the case seemed to make the watch a little more uniform which in a weird way made the watch look better on a small wrist. Again, just my opinion. Other aspect was comfort. The strap vastly improved the comfort of the watch IMO. Perhaps having something to do with the wider stance again. Along with the buckle you're looking at a decent investment (approx. $700+), but to me it was worth it. Good luck! ![]() |
