John Mayer Talking Watches- Datograph

I've watched the Hodinkee talking watches vid with John Mayer a few times. At 2 mins in he mentions the ALS Datograph, flipping it over and seeing 45 on the back and saying that's not for him. What is he referring to?

Ah right, thanks! I was wondering as flipping it over you should be busy marvelling at the movement.

Yes few things are as annoying as when ADs cover watches in plastic wrap and obscure the movement with unimportant details like price
