It could be an after market dial. Back in the 80s they made all sorts of weird dials including stained and varnished wood.

Looks like - blue dial @
http://www.essentialwatches.com/list...7&itemID=14571 Black / onyx dial @ http://www.essentialwatches.com/list...8&itemID=12013 Maybe the bracelet / strap has been changed. His f/b looks like he deals in high end product. But I could be wrong. |

He says 1805 case....
....but, I own a 1803. My 1803 has a DISTINCT edge around the dial, as it is a snap on dial as opposed to having feet. The dial he shows does NOT have the edge. However, I do not know if the 1805 had a snap on dial.
Other than that, I would say that at least this is a redial, and maybe NOT the original mvm't. He does not say what the mvmt ref# is to be able to cross reference. Stan. |

I agree that it is most definitely a redial.

I have seen GOOD dials like that before, BUT that one.

What would you expect with a watch that the bid price is 666.

why would seller risk 100% feedback and powerseller rating for fake/modified timepiece?

At worst, it's a fake. At best, it's a $h1tty redial. Either way, it's as ugly as homemade sin. Personally, I think the date magnification is wrong.

It has been settled by having it removed. I think it was a faker.
