First Rolex! Datejust 16233
Hey everyone!
Long term lurker on TRF and I just bought my first Rolex a few days ago. While I am thoroughly enjoying the watch, I have a few questions. The watch has never been serviced (its keeping good time, around +5 seconds a day) and has been worn sparingly, according to the original owner. As I am located in Toronto, would any Torontonians be kind enough to recommend an independent repair shop to service my Rolex? I called Rolex Canada and they wanted 6 weeks and $700 (without any parts). The price isnt outrageous but the wait seems a little long. I have attached a picture of my bracelet stretch as well, is it too much or am in the clear? Ive been contemplating about sending the bracelet to Michael Young if its too stretched, but I do not have a baseline to compare it to. How worn is my bracelet? Thanks in advance, and I hope I didnt post in the wrong section as this is my first ever post. |

Congrats and welcome to TRF.
You should visit Dimiani Jewellers in Woodbridge. Ask to speak to Chonger. He is their own in house watch repair specialist. He does excellent work and is very knowledgeable. I've used him on my 5513 Submariner and was extremely happy with the results. Good luck. |
