Hi Guys, It take me a few month to get the ONE. Thanks to VINCENT65 to pass me on his dealers list. I acquired this spectacular piece from ANDREW SHEAR, very nice gentleman and highly professional, really happy to deal with him. Here my MK5

Welcome to the Forum!
That is a beauty but it has a "refreshed" case, most likely from ABC. I do not take anything away from its beauty, but it is not unpolished... |

Very nice 1680 with a great looking, refinished case as previously mentioned. It's nice to see one with the original bracelet which is usually missing from these vintage vintage Subs.

Wow!!!
Congrats, that is a head turner for sure. Wonderful patina, and look at that case. As mentioned, I love the bracelet on that piece as well. Koudos to Andrew Shear, he comes up with the best. |

Thank very much to all of you, my best wished!!! TimeToGo thanks for the welcoming, it is a 100% unpolish. Indeed ABC is the best place to refinishing a rolex case, my earlier Redsub before this one past throw ABC work shop, and it is amazing what they can do. Cheers

Agree with springer Beautiful watch. Unpolished to me is like saying I have a car that is unwashed if anyone wants to buy it. Oh ya it's from 1970 too.

Some people just don't want to accept the apparently unthinkable possibility that a watch hasn't been polished before! Haha. There are some owners who simply either didn't wear their watch much, or never had it serviced. Just did nothing - for decades. It does happen. Basic law of probability; millions made and sold, not all were worn heavily or serviced multiple times. Some... never. Making absolute statements about something someone has never owned, held or even seen in person is a bit silly. IMHO...
