Rubber Strap for 36 mm (14270) Explorer

Hi All,

First post but a big fan of forum. Does anyone have a recommendation for a rubber strap for a 36mm explorer??? Noticed the great posts for the Everest verses the Rubber B but they only have straps for the new 39mm Explorer. Any 36 mm people out there with a recommendation??

Thanks!!!

Chris

Welcome to the forum Chris.
I have the 39mm Explorer and wear it on a black Hirsch Pure. Very comfortable, well made and its simplicity suits the watch well in my opinion. I would imagine they make an 18mm which I guess would be the size you need for a 36mm Explorer? Might be worth a look. All the best.

20mm, not 18.

Ditto on the Hirsch rubber, black but they come in several colors (20mm lug width).

Thanks everyone for your recommendations. I also contacted Rubber b and Everest customer support. Rubber B is in preproduction with a 36 mm band that they expect available in 2016. Everest does not have one planned yet.

Hope this helps others.

Interesting. I wonder if the RubberB will be for the 14270 or the 114270 (if specifically either). They have slightly differing lug hole positions, and RubberBs are made for a very precise fit.

I've not tried any rubber straps at all but what about isofrane? Read they make some good straps as well.

Interesting point.... I have both or should I say ... I gave my 114270 to my son for his graduation gift from college. He always admired it and bought a 14270 with lug holes.. IMHO a tool watches needs lug holes(no bling ring) .... I specifically said 14270 in my correspondence and their reply was as stated above.

We shall see....
