Asia/Hong Kong TRF GTG Date?
Hong Kong has won . http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=429891
I would put this into a poll but I really don't have any dates in mind. The first half of January would be ideal for me. I have never been to Hong Kong and am counting/hoping that some local members there can both come up with some ideas on dates, locations and things to do. Cheers all. Lets hear your date recommendations! |

Hello Tom. Would it be possible to have this later in the year as we commented (some members in America are considering attending)...just my 2 cents...

If you move it to the last half of the year, September or October are free of holidays and after the summer school break.
Exid to add, for North Americans.

I am pretty much easy with whatever date. Direct flights there from where I live just a few hours away and I should be able to get time off just about anytime if I plan it out.
As far as activities I have never been there so I am down for whatever the locals recommend . |

My wife and I are itching to go. We would be good with mid-September through end of October.
Thanks for putting this together. |

If we time it for this time next year (last week of September/first week of October), then it would coincide with the Watches & Wonders show. It would be a good back drop for a GTG.

I'm going to assume dead on the vine. I'll focus my time on the Vegas GTG and play this one by ear.

Jason, I would not say that this is dead on the vine. Hong Kong has been chosen.
I am going to have to rely on a Hong Kong member now to organize this from there. If nobody steps up that is fine and I guess we can all meet there on a date to be decided and if nothing else get some dinners, drinks and watch shop. I know nothing about Hong King and have never been there. I think the focus right now is on the Las Vegas GTG as it should be and then if there is not GTG fatigue we can get this one rolling for later in the year. |

I have never been to Hong Kong, but I can work with our travel staff and draft something up.

If the timing works, I'd like to come along. I'm less than four hours on a flight from Singapore.
