New Daytona question
I just bought a new SS Daytona with a white face. It's been a few years since I had my last Rolex. It's something of a grail watch for me. I am a bit of a gear head, and have a nice car I like to run around a track for fun.
I have a question about the bracelet. I have a small 6 1/2 inch wrist. The retailer only put two links into the case. They claim that any link they took out would have been put into the case. If that is true then the largest wrist my Daytona would have fit would be maybe 7 1/4 inches. I remember the retailer having to take 4 or 5 links out of my GMT 2c when I bought it a few years ago. Am I crazy to think the retailer shorted me a couple of links? I apologize if this is a stupid question. |

How many links in total do you have?

12 including the 2 the retailer took out. I browsed some websites offering new Daytonas. It looks as though all of those only have 12 links.
So while mine is probably fine, it makes me wonder what people do who have larger wrists. |

I'm sure I've read on here somewhere that a member with tree trunks for wrists bought a Daytona and had to pay for extra links

Thanks for all the help.
It's nice to have another Rolex after a few years without one, especially when it's a Daytona. |

I had 12 links on my stainless Daytona, but 11 on my white gold Daytona.
Lucky for me, 11 links is a perfect fit. |

Yeah i think you're good.
Shorting you on a stainless steel links wouldn't be worth it in my opinion for the retailer to potential be caught. |

My Daytona has 9 on the watch, 3 in the box. So you are good!

Same for me - one out on each side = perfect fit!

Sounds like you're good to go. I also take one off of each side as Dr. Tom said in his post. Congrats on the new Daytona!

The Daytona bracelet has 13 links, not including the solid end links that attach to the case. The majority of the 13th link is tucked under the end of the clasp even when the bracelet is set at the largest setting using the micro adjustment in the clasp. This is true for the newest bracelet and the prior version. With all links on both versions of the bracelet and with the micro adjustments in the clasp at the largest setting the Daytona bracelet should have no problem fitting an 8.25 inch wrist, give or take 0.25.

I'm confused guys
I just want to understand correctly. The newest Daytona bracelets have 12 full links *5 on 6 o'clock side * 7 on 12 o'clock side this would NOT be factoring in the easy link...the easy link would be the 13th link? every post above said 12 and the final post said 13? so basically 12 full size links not including the easy link and 13 if including the easy link. is this correct? |

12 full links + easylink. I don't recall whether it's 6+6 or 7+5, but as long as you have 12+ easylink, you've got what it came with.

12 links on mine. I took off one from each side. I think my wrist is a bit larger than 7". I am fairly certain watch comes new with 12 links.

It is 12 links plus the easy link. I have 8" wrists and my WG Daytona has all 12 plus east link.

I was confused by the 1 poster who said 13 links. obviously they factored IN the easy links as the 13th. |
