Opinions on this Rubber strap for the 233

Have just bought this but am not so sure. Any opinions would be grateful. My bro says it doesn't suit the watch. What does the forum reckon??? Is it a yes or a no.

Looks like a fun summer or weekend sports strap! Variety is good! How is the quality, is it natural rubber or silicone?

If the buckle is removable I'd prefer adding a Pre-V

The beauty of Panerai is the ability to give the watch any look you want. So if you like it, then why not? That orange strap looks like a great weekend or summer strap.

I personally prefer the OEM rubber strap. I was hung up on leather for the first 5 months of owning my 233 before I decided to throw it on the OEM rubber strap. Now its one my of favorite options and super comfortable.

Nice summer/vacation strap, although not crazy about the buckle.

It is a strap from bonetto cinturini. I think it is natural rubber. They are supposed to make good quality rubber straps. I also have the Rubber B for my Deepsea although must admit i do like the bracelet on the deepsea and it is a bit harder to change. My Victorinox inox has a very nice rubber strap which fits great and feels comfortable on the wrist

Yes i do like the OEM accordion but i feel that is better on a submersible like the 305. This was also alot cheaper than the OEM. To be honest i have a feeling i might just send this one back as it is not ticking all the boxes for me.

Can you post a pic of the 233 on the accordion style rubber from the 305? I've never seen that.

I suppose I will be the contrarian, but that strap doesn't appear to me to be worthy to be on such a nice time piece. It cheapens your great watch.

I agree with you DR.Golf. I sent the strap back as it just didn't feel right and i didn't like the fact that i could not put tubes in the strap holes.
Thanks for peoples comments. Am waiting on a green canvas strap from timeconnections so will post that up when it arrives
