i usually just wipe down the crystal once in a while after wetting it with a Lense cloth (or my shirt more often). If I go to the beach or swimming I use some warm water and hand soap, been wearing Rolex watches for about 10 years now, haven't had any issues.

A good warm rinse every couple days, dish soap when I feel like putting the extra effort in. Very low maintenance

Agree with Peter for regular care. But...
It gets really grimey in the tight areas between links over the months - even with regular washing.

So learning how to remove the bracelet helps you use a sonic cleaner on the bracelet a couple of times a year. Or steam cleaning it. The watch head deserves some care since neither sonic nor steam is good for it. While it's off the bracelet you can use a soft baby-type toothbrush and diluted liquid dish soap to get it squeaky clean.

Years ago I read a post just like this where Scrubbing Bubbles was recommended. I use it on the bracelet and it lifts the grim out of tight spaces. When done the bracelet has a nice shine.

Every time I put my watch to bed. I am still on the first bottle after a year. Just a couple of squirts, a toothbrush, and rinse.

I just take mine with me in the shower after a sweaty day or other more exposed endeavors, wash the watch like i would wash my hands, rinse very thoroughly, then dry with a towel. When the watches are new (about a year) they tend to wear in and have some metal dust coming off once in a while but that stops at some point. Otherwise, when it's just smudged a quick wipe with a soft cloth, from t-shirt to micro fiber.

Wait what do i do?

I take a bowl of warm water and mix in dish soup. Do i let the watch sit in it or something or do i scrub it down with a wet cotton cloth?

Can someone actually describe the process.
