Lost Deployment Clasp Button 15202
I noticed this evening that one of my deployment clasp buttons had fallen off.
Does anyone have experience getting this replaced at AP? I'm hoping for a quick in-house fix and not a 3 month turn-around to Florida for such a small part... Any thoughts? |

Ive seen this only once before. I'm sure APSC Clearwater can fix it in much less than a 3 month turnaround. If you still have to get the B1 test I would send it in and get it all done at the same time. Otherwise, If they are willing to send the parts I would just fix it myself.

Happened to mine too. I called the Florida service center and they will fix it when I send it in for the 2 year checkup.

Happened to me (I am in NY). I called the boutique and they let me know when to come in and fixed it on the spot while they gave me a a glass of champagne and let me try on other models. Was a great experience ! I am sure they will treat you the same at service or if possible a boutique. It's a known issue BTW as confirmed by the watchmaker I spoke to.

It's not an uncommon issue but have since been fixed in the later batch.

It is quite common -- those small screws seem to loosen quite easily. No doubt some Loctite or something similar has been added moving forward. (Which is probably what they'll do when you send it in...) |
