Since Panerai has decided to discontinue their vintage calf line of straps...

Does anyone have any recommendations of similar 3rd party ones?

I can't for the life of me figure out why they'd stop making them, but I really wanted to grab a few of them but they've basically dried up except for a few used ones on eBay at ridiculous prices. I really like the look (rough edges/etc.) but am having trouble finding anything similar.

Greg Stevens Design makes great straps. Plus he's great to work with.

Greg makes a great strap. Also does Micah (Vintager) and Drew (Europelli)... I prefer Drew and Micah's straps though... Drews look sharper and neater. Micah's are a little more rugged but still great quality. If I were going vintage leather - Micah!

Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone who does a similar crackled/distressed strap. I think there is someone, just can't remember.

It is interesting that OP discontinued the strap. Maybe rumors as to issues with longevity were true?
