Lume shots of 5512 5513 or any vintage tritium dials

I would love to see if any member has lume shots of those tritium subs from the past, while the tritium is still glowing bright.
Especially the subs 5512 5513 or GMT models.

Those would have to be shot by film, ages before the digital age. Perhaps by more serious Rolex collectors and enthusiasts?

I don't think I have ever seen any actual lume photos from that period

Nice to see some tritium still glows today, might they have different batches with variable half-lives?

I am hoping to see lume shots of brand new 5512 5513 GMT watches from back 1960 -1970, shot on film.

The tritium was there to excite the luminous compound. The tritium is mostly gone now but the luminous material is still there. It is just that for a while they used something that could also be excited by UV light and you can make those briefly glow with a UV torch for instance. Most of the watches had a compound that could only be excited by the beta radiation from the tritium.

My father took vast amounts of photos in the 70s including underwater pictures. I will ask him if he has any night shots. With some luck a face of any of the watches I grew up around might be visible.
