1680 Submariner Dial Question
Can anybody tell me about the below 1680 sub dial. The M next to the 200 is curved. When I look at other dials the M is more straight. Any info would be much appreciated

There are a number of variations in the font on all Rolex models..
for comparison, here is one of the "straight m" font dials.

Have you seen dials with the curved M?

1680 Submariner Dial Question
I don't recall seeing a "date" sub with a feet first dial and curved m. The red 1680 "ft first" dials with curved m are all fake. I know some of the earlier meters first "no date" subs had curved m. In short, I'm not helpful either.
(Edit: the font on yours looks a little shaky...hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

James I can hardly see your image.. it's really small and kind of dark and I'm not sure if it's out of focus because I can't see it well enough.

1680 Submariner Dial Question
In my humble opinion, Dial is refinished or fake

the easier inconsistencies to spot in your dial:
- "600ft = 200m" is in wrong typeface and too skinny - closed 6's - "F" is wrong - "m" is wrong - kerning in "chronometer" is cramped |
