Replacement hands for Tudor Sub

I'm looking for some feedback on restrictions regarding replacing the hand set on my 79090 Sub. It currently has luminova service hands and I'd like to restore it back to period correct tritium hands.

What are my options as far as replacement hands go? Can I use any hand set from any model Rolex Sub or must they be from a donor Tudor Sub?

Thanks

I would suspect that the Tudor movement has different diameter posts that the hand set is attached to.

Otherwise there would be thousands of ETA movement watches with Rolex hands added.

Tritium hands have not been made for almost 20 years and so the search would include watch meets and vintage dealers, some of which are listed in a sticky on the Vintage Board.

one option is RSC. they still have the parts. i just had mine serviced afew months ago. they replaced the gaskets, crown, crystal and hands. and they did a terrific job too. but it took 5 weeks because they didnt have the parts on hand.

Thanks, something to consider. Would love to hear more about this. I'm having a really difficult time finding a set of tritium replacement hands. However, handsets for a the Rolex Sub seem to be more readily available.

Nice watch. Did they replace your old hands with newer Luminova filled ones?
