Correct bezel insert for meter-first 5513
Hi. I just wanted to get some opinion on the bezel on this watch. It's a 1967 5513. Is the bezel correct for this watch? Or is this a service one? Thanks!

You probably mean the insert (the black part with the numbers written on it) rather than the bezel (the silver ring that holds the insert).
The insert is probably a replacement, as one on a watch that's almost 50 years old wouldn't be so black and shiny. Not a deal breaker, as the vast majority of watches of this age will have some replacement parts. |

I think what you have is either an aftermarket insert or a mid font insert... not original to the watch.
Correct Insert would be a long five Fat Font Mk2 Most would be ok with a Mk3 Fat Font as well.

This is my 1967 MF 5513 which I've owned since 1973. This is the original bezel insert (the pearl is a replacement).
