Sub 116613 or a Big Pilot?
Thinking of flipping my Buesy for an IWC Big Pilot. Any words of wisdom?

Close the thread. No more has to be said on the matter.
In all seriousness though, unless you have two of the same watch then no don't do it. If you like the Big Pilot so much then buy it as well as or trade another, inferior watch in for it plus cash?

Keep the Bluesy. Get a Tourby or Archimede pilot watch. They have several variations.

I think this is one of the coolest watches I've ever seen.....
I've looked at it several times at the IWC Boutique on the Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich.... |

No. I don't have any other reason other than the 116613 is one of the best looking watches around.

Put it on and see if you like it...it's quite big though it does look really nice.
Id go for something like a JLC Geophysic...now that is one classy watch. |

Doesn't really matter. If you want it more than the 116613 get it.

I don't like TT's so I'd choose the Big Pilot. However if you are going to flip the TT I'm not sure IWC is the way to go. But if you are then what I thinks matters little. Good luck!

Do it...and sell me the Sub at a good price. I'll sell it back to you when you want it back in a few weeks.

I never heard of IWC. Does it stand for Inferior Watch Company?

Go for it if you feel you need a change. BP is a cool watch. If you can, try the newer Saint Exupery model with the blue face (picture in one of the previous posts in this thread) - it really is a beauty. You can always go back to your 116613 down the line of you want to. All part of the fun.

116613 is stunning. The Pilot is ok but I would not do such a trade unless you don't like the 116613 anymore.

The Big Pilot is a pretty awesome watch. IWC doesn't seem to get much love around here, maybe because this is the Rolex Forum.
That being said they are two completely different watches in look and feel. If you are already thinking about flipping than it's probably a done deal but I would say keep the Rolex and wait to buy the BP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Big Pilot is a very cool watch but we are talking about two very different pieces here. Both are classics within their brands.

if you like bigger watch, get it. Otherwise, your bluesy is a keeper.
