Rolex DLC Submariner 14060 All Black NATO
I must reluctantly sell my DLC coated Rolex Submariner model 14060. I originally purchased the watch in 2005, and sent it out to renowned watchmaker International Watch Works for a full service in 2010 and application of the hardened black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. This hardened coating is very durable and resistant to scratches or wear. At the time of the DLC coating, the second hand was painted green to match the custom green bezel insert. The watch was more recently sent for a complete overhaul this past February, so that it now keeps excellent time and has been pressure tested to ensure that it is watertight to the rated depth.
I would conservatively rate the watch as a 9 out of 10 due to some wear on the DLC coating around the lugs, as can be seen in the pictures. The watch comes on the green NATO strap seen in the pictures above. I am sorry to see this watch go but would like to purchase a DSRD. With the recent overhaul, it is ready to provide its new owner with years of faithful service. The firm price for this watch is $3950 via wire transfer, overnight shipping included. No box or papers are included. |
