5513 servicing
Had my 5513 serviced recently. Repairer advises that the hairspring is damaged but managed to effect the repair and watch ticking away nicely with accuracy less thanb10 seconds. I would have replaced the part but the Hairspring cannot be obtained unless taken to official Rolex Service Centre. My question is, does this movement repair harm resale value as its working perfectly.

Won't harm resale value whatsoever in my opinion.
Vintage collectors care mostly about the case, dial, matching hands, crown, crystal, braclet etc. I had the movement in my 5513 overhauled this past summer. Everything else I left untouched |

Mine looks like its had replacement hands, lume looks whiter than the creamy hour markers. I also lightly polished the case. The bracelet is bit stretched but still functional. I was thinking of laser welding and restore by Michael Young in HK.
