Buddy Springer...are the clasps & bezel correct for this 1675 GMT???
Err buddy...please check this listing in eBay...
Orchi suspect the bezel & clasps are wrong... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=022 The acrylic crystal does not rise up high enough... The Seller is quite reputable though... http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...t=42090&page=9 |

ORCHI....the first link shows a genuine....
...usa made band with the oval links. The folding clasp also appears genuine. Again, I am not sure of the buckle. I beleive Springer has an oval linked band (if my memory serves me right)?? He also has a JB Champion band. He can better answer the buckle question for us.
The second link you posted is of a recent post and responses on TRF. Stan. |

Orchi, that band is an American made genuine band. JB Champion I believe. Also, there were, and are, many companies selling crystals for Rolex watches. They are all a little different - some might be a little shorter than others, and the one on this watch could be aftermarket. I'm not a purist when it comes to crystals, so being an aftermarket crystal doesn't bother me much. To me, it's like replacing my windshield in the car when I get a bad stone chip, I want one that fits and keeps the wind out of my face. LOL
Take care. John

Thanks for your affirmation n comments on its bracelet assembly...n crystal. Now back to its bezel...hmmm...can't seem to put a finger on it...but it looks rather odd having its insert slanting upwards that much... |

Orchi, I don't know what to say about the bezel. It looks like it might be the camera angle, but I see what you mean about the gaps or "slanting." It does appear that it might be a replacement bezel based on the serrated cuts in the bezel but it is hard to make a judgement based on the photos.

Err buddies...as the finding on the bezel is inconclusive...n the fact that the bracelet buckle/clasps/assembly is found to be sound minus the other circumstantial concern about its crystal...Orchi shall give this case a rest...n move along...

they are selling the same gmts all over again... maybe they didnt know the reason why they are being pulled or just persistent in trying to offload the watch to unsuspecting buyers.... worst is the shipping/insurance charges.. exhorbitant! |
