Quick AP help for a friend please

Taking a friend watch shopping tmrw. He likes the SS Royal Oak.

I am not very familiar with AP and am wondering which model is the most popular go to watch. Like the AP equivalent of the SS Sub C Date in terms of popularity and recognition.

Is that the 15300?

Also which dial is favored here?

Current in ADs now is the 41mm 15400 and the 39mm 15202 if you are lucky to find one.

x2

Probably the two most common sub type APs and on a based model type of pricing.

You are probably looking for the 15400 at 41 mm, which replaced the 15300. I prefer either silver or blue, and the majority will say blue.
