Thankfully not until I opened this thread. Trying to erase the image from my mind now. Sorry, not for me. Some modifications are simply too extreme for my conservative nature.

Bamford does "custom" mods to many different watch brands. Sorry, Not to my taste at all.

I'm probably one of the few, but I wish the Submariner didnt have the pearl at the 12 o'clock position. I wish it was replaced with the standard GMT triangle, like the one above.

White ceramic is quite on trend, maybe fun for the summer and would go over well with the young beach gals.

Amazingly flat and dimensionless. They've managed to remove the rich depth of the sub design and replace it with a cardboard cutout.

My wife hates it too, so not sure it's a best seller for the ladies either.

I looked through their website. Most watches there were pretty ghastly but they did have a few nice ones.

I can see modifying a Rolex for your own reasons. For me it would be to see the time easier. (Old eyes.) Possibly even making your own "Paul Newman" design. But I would hope it would remain elegant and timeless.

They have some interesting mods, neat to look at, but just not my style. I was also curious what they would run price wise...

If the above number would be the case...I would say any buyers better be head over heels with it. Because you'd likely take a bath on the back end with it if you ever tried to or wanted to sell.
