Wow! What a terrible magnification. I saw a DJII just like this one at the Costco in Salt Lake City (Murray) yesterday. Did not notice the date mag. This one in a different city I bet.

i heard that rolex doesn't stick to the 2.5x mag anymore. That its closer to 2x mag now. Is that true?

rolex no longer lists on their website 2.5x magnification for the cyclops.
other than that no one knows except rolex what it actually means.

I don't believe that is is Rolex ref number. The 36mm would be 118238, the 40 would be 228238 if I'm accurate.
